Hello,
I currently have 3 GFD ewes from the Muddle flock and am looking for a registered ram/ram lamb to use this year. I would also like to expand my flock with a couple more registered ewes ready for breeding this year.
However , I am really struggling to find anything! I know there are sales at the end of August in Exeter but we had a bad experience there last year so would prefer to buy privately if possible. Does anyone have anything available?
Many thanks :sheep:

Hi Liz,
I might be a bit far (Carms/Pembs bornder SA34) but I do have about 3 ram lambs from my homebred ram who is by one of Sadie James' Hazlewood Rams (so a top notch line ;) ). I've also got a couple of ewes that I could let go and a handful of ewe lambs if you were interested.
Drop me an email if you think you might be interested. We have a holiday Annexe which you'd be welcome to use for an overnight stop if you think the trip might be worthwhile. Take a look at the website www.glynelwyn.co.uk (http://www.glynelwyn.co.uk) or the Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/glynelwyn.faithmead (https://www.facebook.com/glynelwyn.faithmead) for lots of photos (Go to photos on website and click back to Winter 2012 for majority of early lamb pics etc.

Cheers

Is it you me and hubby were talking to at Suffolk Show last week? Just before you went to show your trio?

Hi colliewobbles
Yes It`s Me!
I haven`t been on TAS for ages, but this morning had a look on the sheep section and to my great surprise one of the members has posted a photo of my naughty "Greyfaces" at the Suffolk show ;D -small world isn`t it.

Hi Jackie,
Thanks for getting back to me - Great Yarmouth is quite a long way from us but I'll be in touch if we can't find anything closer.
Best wishes

 Hi again - we submitted our farm tenancy application today. If it goes in our favour we will be in touch for some sheep - we love them and realised later that it is probably yours we have seen at Claxton too.

Hi Chase View,
I'm sorry you had a bad experience at Exeter. I do have a registered shearling ram I could sell, but no females at present. Where abouts are you?
-
Hello Liz, I will send you a pm re shearling ewes.

Hello Hazlewood,
We are in north west staffs, so quite a long way from you I think. Thanks for your offer of a shearling ram - will be in touch shortly if I can't find anything closer.
Best wishes

Hi everyone,
Thank you for all for your replies and help, I have now found a lovely proven ram just up the road from me near Leek. There are also some great ewes.
