Title: yolk seperation?
Post by: Hillview Farm on June 01, 2013, 08:59:38 am
I had a call from a family friend who buys eggs off me. They take a large quantity so I always make sure they are the freshest eggs. They normally use the eggs within 2 weeks of me passing them over so they are 3 weeks MAX

They rang me up the other day to say when they crack the eggs the yolk is staying in the shell???  ???

I've never heard of this nor have I experienced this.

Any ideas? Are they lacking something?

What all of them or just the occasional one?    I'm stumped unless your humidity is very dry where you live.
