Well the good news is that the weather forecast was acurate.
The bad news is that it is p*$$*&g down with rain :gloomy: and its cold too. Have gone from sun bathing and bbq yesterday to feeding the animals with a fleece and GLOVES on.

Yep, here too :-\
Oh well, I really enjoyed the sun over the past couple of days and I'm sure that was in part because it's so rare!
-
Bionic, I love the way you manage to see something positive in this atrocious weather... ;D
Yesterday, t-shirt and almost sunburn - today, half a dozen layers plus full body waterproofs. But we got done what we meant to do before the big downpour.
-
We are just waiting for the rain  - having reseeded and graded a large expanse out the front of the house where the builders were. Most recent forecast looks like it's going to go either side of us

Wel the good news for me is I can wash my only dress........back into thick jumpers and coats....very chilly today....so that was that then? 8)

Been raining all day here but now it is monsoon rain , pissing down !
Whats the betting all my seedlings get washed away ?
-
The rain has started here which is good for the reseeded bit but bad for OPH's morale. We have still got to do the leek holes.
-
Was that summer? ::)
All the sheep were shorn yesterday (booked weeks ahead) and now look very dejected. I havn't had the heart to turn them back out into the exposed field so they are curled up in the shelter of the barn today.
-
The pigs were wallowing in their mud bath yesterday as it was so warm and sunny - today they are completely clean cos of the continuous shower....!
Good news is our outside veg patch is getting some much needed water and our rainwater collection tank is getting filled up

Been out preparing the leek beds for planting next week.
Came back absolutely covered in mud from head to foot. It's been raining for about two hours and already we are back to slippy, trippy, slidey, sticky heavy clay.
It's like the Somme out there!! :gloomy: :gloomy: ... but the newly sewn grass seed is going to love it :excited:

I was at a sheep shearing today and did feel sorry for the poor sheep who came in to the barn in mild weather and with thick fleeces this morning and left it this afternnoon in cold wind and rain and absolutely naked.
