There have been reports of significant 'panic buying' in Ireland, as the Swine Flu pandemic worsens. Long queue's of vehicles can be seen at most major supermarkets throughout the country. However, people are reportedly only purchasing what the consider most necessary, should they be unable to go shopping in the near future. The good news is that Guinness reckons that they can cope with the surge in demand; sure these's ate'n drinkin' in it !

As in previouse posts I was hospitalised with Flu in the late 60's but I had a mild version of flu a few years ago and went out and bought new nighties and toiletries before I got too bad to go out...I recovered in a few days so did not need them..that was my panic buying ;)
