I need driving insurance,
am with the BHS, not sure if this covers carriage driving .
Any help or ideas

If you are a gold member it might but better to ask them.
-
It certainly includes training sessions and events run by BHDTA carriage driving but it isn't very clear in the rest of the text about non event driving as it refers to riding.
I would ring BHS, or better email them so that they have to reply in writing and you can keep the reply as a record.
Try to ignore the annoyingly disinterested tone you often get when ringing (even when you are giving them money by renewing membership)....:-DD

Suggest you look at BDS - their third party insurance is cheaper than the BHS Gold equivalent and their policies will all cover driving as it's their raison d'etre ;D

Great, will check all this out.

The BHS tell me that thy do cover carriage driving,
with the gold cover.
