Anyone noticed the clock is wrong on the site? Me supposed to be working nearly missed my next meeting as it is an hour out. I know I'm in Ireland, but think the time is the same?
-
ach, i'm sure they'll not mind if oyu are a wee bit late. lifes simpler over there.
tell them a knacker stole your pony, you'll be fine.
-
The clock is set to UTC as all computers should be (damn Windows...). Go to your profile and click "Look and Layout Preferences" from the menu on the left. In the box labelled "Time Offset:" type "1" then scroll down and click "Change profile". It will now display the correct time.. until we leave BST and return to GMT in the Autumn!
-
Thank you didn't realise that
As for the comment regarding me going to work on a pony!! I may live over here but I'm a Londoner and as such have a very nice car (being ruined by the crap roads though!) Anyway the meeting is in the next office so just use my 'my plates of meat'!!
-
My clock is correct but I don't go to work...Oh, stereotyping can be offensive even when some people find it funny others may not, my years of youth work and social work would have me sacked if I were to use any stereotypical phrase!!! so now I cringe at others suing them..
-
I just laugh. I stereotype the Irish - have a sharp tongue unfortunately, so believe me I get it right back again!! Hey lifes too short to worry too much
-
i steriotype the irish as well and im married to a paddy ;D
and im more than able to rip the p...s out of dubs/cork/northern/mayo men etc..... as well as welsh/scot/eng
and i give as much as i get...
-
I am no sterotype!!!! well what is a sterotype of a middle aged English woman? OK, so I am fat, in my fifties and need glasses and I do wear comfortable rather than fashionable clothes and shoes!!!!!
-
You can cut out the 'tiny bit' Sandy - I think you have proved yourself lol ;D
-

feel free to steriotype anyone you wish, just be more specific than just "youth" remember that your tara will one day be one! LOL!
-
Some "youths" are more responsible then us oldies.....well me....When I was a teenager I was very shy and very sensible!!!
-
Hi Gem,
That is what worries me!.
We as parents can do and say what we like, But as kids get older you can not be there all the time.
I only hope that Tara is as sensible as Her Mammy.
Remember the old saying.
Yorkshire born, Yorkshire bred strong in the arm soft in the head.
Well that me!!. ;D ;D ;D
Love and best wishes
Joe :)

i grew up in lincolnshire and the saying i remember was;
Lincolnshire born,
Lincolnshire bred,
strong in the arm,
and thick in the head.
although i also dated a yorkshireman once and he was definately "soft" in the head!
-
Dae ye mean "Scots wi nae brains" lol ;D
-
there is a scots woman near where i live she is in her 40's has half her teeth missing, an alcoholic, aggresive, bad body odour, spits when she talks (and worked in a local chipper until recently) and hasnt 2 brain cells to rub together and has a hideous obese obnoxious braindead daughter!
if i didnt know any better, i could easily tar all scots with the same brush as she is a very poor advertisment for scotland.....
-
I've been embarrassed many times on holiday's by the Brits abroad!!!!!!every culture has their embarrassing ambassador!
-
She sounds disgusting - I take no-one has ever told her?
-
braindead+aggressive+alcoholic= avoid wherever possible!
-
;Dgive doganjoe the address and she will tell her!!! ;)
-
Yup, you've got me sussed, Sandy - but to be honest even I am not THAT brave!
