Title: Muddy spots?
Post by: nelson on May 15, 2013, 08:59:34 am
We have a litter of Berkshires that we are taking on for meat. They are now 11 weeks old . Wormed and all eating very well.
Yesterday we noticed what we thought were little dried muddy spots on them - not many - I rubbed one off and it was red under the mud - so like a scab? Going to ask the vet. Checked their mums and nothing there - also cannot see anything on the rest of our herd. Any ideas?

Thanks

Probably answering my own question here - they are in a shady tree area and we have had humid weather so it could be bites. Will spk to vet anyway. Thanks
