What a great idea!!  I am always struggling and thinking I am going to buy a book stand!  Might not be big enough for Delia's "bible" though lol.

Helen, I know what you mean about the book stand. I have promised myself one for years an never bought it. This would probably only work for magazies and the likes though. Still, it stops them getting food on them whilst baking.

I do print out a lot and put them in my "recipe" book so that will work for those. :)

I bought a little stand for my I pad as my plastic one broke, I can also use it for books or my mirror when doing my plucking :innocent:

took me so long to add that photo, I forgot to say, a wire coat hanger is so useful for all sorts of things but can I find one?   Must have thrown them all out :innocent:

Great idea if you have a cupboard above your worktop. I have a bookstand but books tend to close on me depsite the weighted cord bookmark.
