One of my ewes lamb on the 28th off jan to a single and I adopted on another lamb that was born 2 days earlier her own lamb zwarble/texel mum welsh dad is a fair size and the adoptee is a little larger as he is a more commercial lamb.due to the poor year and lack of grass early on I was thinking off weaning soon to get mum in best condition for tupping time? They will be on my large back garden lots of nice grass

Assuming you tup end August for end Jan lambing, I'd leave the lambs on mum for another month at least. A couple of months rest should set her up nicely, and generally 4 months is early enough to wean lambs unless there's a problem.
