Signed it. 

It isn't just pups being born in this country which is a problem.  More and more pups are coming in from Eastern Europe with fake passports, and are being sold to pet shops.  They should have added that no pup should be sold my pet shops as they are fueling the problem.

Helen, I think there is  a separate petition for that.  Have a look at the Government petition site.
