Title: Lambing Photos Thread
Post by: SteveHants on May 07, 2013, 11:28:07 pm
Seeing as there are a lot of threads with cutesey pics of lambs etc and also to dispel any rumours that I actually hate all sheep, ever  :-J ......

I give you the lambing thread!

I am hoping this will turn into a general thread where people slap up pics of their sheepy goings on so we can all nosey. I'll go first.

A general landscapey one of my main block - I lamb out here and keep the grass all nice between the horse jumps. Very sheepy ground though, and they do well on it:

A ewe and her lambs cuddled up next to the horse jumps, which provide a nice windbreak for newborns:

Twins born today to a ewe showing that there are a lot of 'interesting' breeds that have gone into my woolshedders this one possbly a bit of Barbados Black Belly (some others look very khatadin-y), shes a small ewe, but not much smaller than a Lleyn.
