Just wondered what the causes of swollen joints might be. I don't believe it is joint ill as no heat or pain/lameness. Their living quarters before we took them were concrete pig sties so I thought perhaps it was due to that. Only one of three is like it although another has one small bump below hock
All are bright, glossy coats and like pigs on speed! Our previous ones didn't dart about like these ones however they are probably excited about all that space and grass. We took a punt on the one but they are only for meat.

Can you post a picture? Does the swelling affect the actual hock or just below?

Will try and get a pic tomorrow. It's just below hock. Feels like fluid.

Here is a pic if it helps.

Looks a bit like what we had on one of our fatteners, the butcher told us if it wasn't bothering the pig to leave it alone and it would disipate itself. They can be caused by knocks. (happened to be on the phone to him hen i noticed it) Vet said the same and he was right it disappeared within a few days.
Would suggest you monitor.
Bursting it will only make it gammy and prone to infection.
If it becomes a problem or pig goes down hill, ring vet as will probably need Antib's.
