I'm trying to find the pros & cons about permaculture in a 1/4 acre garden .
I've asked here for actual practiced working etc. , I'd rather come to the organ grinders rather than the monkeys who usually write books or make films about it .
What can you guys & gals tell me to try and help or totally disuade someone who is thinking about it ?

OK OK so I made a mucking fuddle with me worms and mispelt it putting vermiculture instead of perma culture ;D
I did wonder why no one came back with an answer .

:roflanim: I didn't reply because I haven't actually tried permaculture beyond the usual suspects, although I've read about it. It would be interesting to find out how the system copes with weeds such as couch, creeping thistle, nettles and so on, which are currently making my life a misery. I find if you don't clear the ground thoroughly every year then those weeds will settle in for ever.

My first thoughts are that it is not such a new idea as suggested , but the recent revival of ideas has been looking more at a greater harmony /intigration with nature ..if such a thing is at all possible.
