Title: Eggs at Last !

Chickens went on Strike in december just after the snow arrived, Not an egg since then yesterday we got 2 and today 5 !!
Fingers crossed that the eggs continue !

Blimey! That was a long strike. I've the opposite problem - they all started laying and just as I've got people keen to by, they've all gone broody. One hatched and has just come back into lay but three of the other four are broody at the moment. Grrrr.

With the weather the way it has been around your area I'm not surprised the girls didn't want to lay  :cold:

Forecast for a warmer weekend so  :fc: for more eggs from your girls  :chook:

Couldnt blame them really considering the Chicken sheds where half burried in Snow on more than one occasion and they could not get out for weeks at a time due to 6ft drifts up that end of the place
