Title: Does anyone take their dog to the Royal Welsh spring festival?
Post by: Bionic on May 02, 2013, 11:35:19 am
I know that dogs aren't allowed in the buildings but am wondering whether or not to take my dog with me this year. It would mean that we can have a longer day out and I wouldn't have to worry about leaving him at home for a long time.

Don't know if it's similar but we always take ours to the Royal Norfolk Show and the local Game & Country Fair

I wouldn't, personally.  That one and the main ag. show have become victims of their own success and get very crowded. Misery for anything at knee height unless you're planning to leave the dog in the car and return at intervals.

No, definitely won't leave him in the car. If thats the case I would rather leave him at home.

We have left our boy at home in the past but may take him this year ...... long time to cross his legs if neighbour not around to let him out.

Lots of other dogs there on previous visits. He might enjoy it  ;D  .

Not been to that one but if we go to any of the big shows we always take the wolfhounds, they love the attention they get from everyone although it does take us twice as long to get around the show   ::)
