Hi folks
How old do lambs need to be before they can be in a field all day and night without a full grown sheep?
I just have 3 bottle fed lambs and want to put them in the paddock full time but am worried about foxes
they are fully weaned and are good weights
Thanks WF

I thought after a couple days old they were fine as they are too big.... I may be wrong

I put mine out at 6 weeks

Agree with twizzel, ours go out about 6 weeks, once all the milk powder has been used up :sheep:

We keep a tame old ewe that's not going to be allowed to lamb again to act as a "nanny". She'll automatically become head of the lamb flock and because she's trained to call and to the bucket she'll teach them in turn.
