Title: Cranberries
Post by: warmglo on April 24, 2013, 02:06:27 pm
Has anyone tried to grow cranberries, or are they just not worth the effort?

the fruit nursery that I used to work at had cranberries , they are acid soil lovers so if your soil isnt then it will have to be pot growing . we used to get loads of berries on them and the nursery was up at Blairgowrie , Scotland . The nurserie supplied loads of fruit to other nurseries all over GB , grows every berry rasps ,strobs, goose . blackcurrents , redcurrents , tayberries and loganberries to name a few , every berry apart from cad-berries  :roflanim: :roflanim: :roflanim: cranberries are easy to grow though
