Title: I know how to make spotted boers
Post by: colliewoman on April 24, 2013, 11:05:01 am
 :D :D :D :D
Indeed. Cross a boer with a nubie 8)

Jillephant, my AN kidded 3 lovely boys yesterday afternoon with a bit of help from me with the 1st. He's now called Sideways, cos he was ::)
Anyhoo, we have a lovely pair of coloured heads and white bodies and a strapping lad who is very well defined black and white spots!!!

Going to borrow a camera today and show them off.

Spotted one is looking like my keeper, as I want a nice chunky billy to serve my girls as their kids are all destined for the freezer due to inherited undesirable traits. Result ;D :sunshine: :sunshine: :sunshine:

Had it been a 100% there would have been a fight  :roflanim:

Its odd we are getting people wanting our 50s , 75s and 100s but not the 87 1/2s but then again everyone wants them disbudded

I haven't really advertised mine yet but may find in future that I have to disbud to sell. I don't agree with it though and all mine are very gentle . Having said that I did watch my AN butting one of the others and as her horns seem to grow straight up I was a little worried. All others should sweep back.
