Anybody know the cost of a secondary supply of water ?

Im being dim, do you mean it's on the mains but you also want to have a well or borehole?

The cost for a bore hole can run into many thousands of £ 's , it all depends how deep they have to drill and what sort of ground they have to drill through.

The well for my new house in 2004/5 cost £150 for the water diviner; £120 for the digger; £100 for the squidgy corrugated tube liner thingy; £100 for the fence round the hole, and £30 for the lid; plus about £750 for the filters installed; and me and the local kids had a whole lot of fun being shown how to divine for water, how to use a digger,  and holding the posts while the digger shoved them in then dodging away quick.  :excited:
