Title: dismantaling pens

After 72 years in turkeys and geese we are not growing for this Christmas we do just over 100 geese and 50 turkeys the pens have been started tacking  them dawn that's pigs gone 18 months a go .We are not hatching ether as we will not be able to feed the stock.  chick crumbs is a ridiculous price at the mo so i dint wont all the hard work with no prophet .So a big hit with the wether cost us 60 ewes so i dint no haw this ya re will go .The whole of UK looks bleak for grain and seed rape etc so i dont wont to go in dept .

Such a tough time for farmers at the moment. I hope the next few years give a much better prospect for you  :fc: we need your knowledge and experience in farming to advise younger or new starters. We cannot afford to keep losing good farmers.

This week drive shaft gone on the tract er and its the week I'm trying to plant before cold wether next week end .And the incubator is up and dawn so i Carnot sell that . And in the second week of lambing with no grass .

well the tracter is fixt il fix the incubater next the rape will have to be re dun plough it in and start again the barley is hardley through .The forcast is a cold week end                                                                        Tomorrow will be even warmer in the south east with the mercury soaring to 22C (72F) locally in bright spells, but further north and west it's a different story with cloud and rain gradually easing off as it pushes south. The warmth looks like holding on in the south on Thursday, but a big change is then expected as much colder air moves down from the north
