Title: Orphan Lambs For Sale: Nr Salisbury

I have


2 x Wilts horn


2x wilts horn x lleyn woolshedding type


and 1 x woolshedder (texel mule x easycare) x suftex


orphans for sale.


All now taking the bottle - priced at £20 each apart from one of the woolshedders who was one of quads and is quite small, but still very lively, £15

I'm tempted too. For how much longer will they need a heat lamp and what sort of milk are you giving them?

If I have any more (and I'm sure I will) I'll just update this thread.


Edited to add - If I think they need colostrum, they will have been topped up with volostrum and are then on ovilac.

OK - 2 more now taking the bottle well are Wilts Horn based woolshedders 1 ram, 1 ewe, both of quads.


Will end up like a wilts horn, but more prolific, a bit smaller and (possibly) without horns.


Also brought in one suftex x woolshedder this am - should be available soon.

Are you likely to be having any more orphans? I will be ready to buy 3 in about three weeks time.

Hopefully, I will have finished lambing by then, I might get the odd one of a ewe gets mastitis...
