Title: Call Ducklings/ Any Duckings Wanted
Post by: elmrs2 on April 19, 2013, 11:20:18 am
I am looking for some day old/ week old call duckings to buy.

I have have put a set into an incubator and only one has hatched- it is part of a school project with the children looking at eggs and development, they are now looking after the solitary ducking.

However I now have one lonely ducking!! I am looking for 6 friends to put with our new hatching.

Any help appreciated, money paid!

Location- teesside/ north yorkshire/ durham would be great.

Thanks

I can sympathise same happened with me, my duckling is sitting under a teddy. It's amazing how warm it is though. I don't want to hijack your tread but if anyone could sell one to me, I Am in Angus, Scotland.
Good luck andi hope you find a wee friend for yours

Again no use but sympathy - I have a singleton too and was ringing around here last weekend for day old ducklings to no avail. Fortunately mine was under a broody so he seems perfectly happy although developing worryingly chicken like habits. I have my fingers crossed he is a he because the current drake is clearly not performing his fertility duties well enough, despite his valiant efforts. Good luck!

Anyone have a duckling for a lonely solitary call duckling that is living in my kitchen and thinks its a human?
