Having bought a hen house from ebay I would definitely avoid, they are very flimsy. Why not buy a garden shed as that way you can get inside to clean them out. Having had several different types of hen houses I am now only buying sheds for mine.

I would really really recommend these ones, Im sure they would deliver to you. They arent the cheapest but they are really solid, and if you get one with wheels on they are soooo easy to roll around (and they dont flex as you move them like the cheap ones do).
I learned the hard way, my ebay bought one is currently a pile on kindling being blown around by the gales. Plus they massively over estimate how many chickens the size of ark will fit - it might be the legal minimum space for each but who wants to replicate that?? I got my one from PP 4 years ago and it looks as good as new and we wheel it around regularly to fresh ground. They and very helpful will also modify them to your needs and just charge the cost of doing that, as each one is made to your order, I wanted slightly different roosting slats and they did it no problem.

I agree. Either a garden shed or build your own. I used to work in a place that sold houses they looked lovely in the showroom but they were poorly designed and flimsy. Some of them would have been impossible to clean properly. I'm not saying that all manufacturers are like that but a lot are. We've got five coops here. Four I've built myself using second hand materials which have cost next to nothing. The other is a garden shed that cost 130 quid three years ago and is still ok despite being a real cheapo job.

I've got one of these

It is not cheap but it is easy to clean, never had any problems with mites and I think it should last forever.
The goose house I built myself, it took a couple of days but it was cheaper than buying and we got something exactly the size we wanted.
