We've just had a lovely 9 nights in Lanzarote (needed some :sunshine:) and 2 english Help-xers (in theior 20's and local to me in Norfolk) looked after our chickens; dogs; cats; tadpoles (don't ask!); rabbit; fish; and goats (including milking!) and kept the house wonderfully clean! They worked hard and we were so thrilled to be able to get away. As Help-xers they don't require payment, just a roof over their heads and food.
Any questions just ask ;)

 I'm glad you had a nice time and even better that the place was well kept while you were away. It must set your mind at rest.

My Brother and his girlfriend are currently staying in New Zealand for a year or two offering their help via Help-ex so they are seeing the country, staying at peoples houses looking after anything from a single cat to smallholdings of animals and getting a free roof over their heads, they love it :) definitely worth considering using over here.

To be honest a few other Helpxers that we've had were awful - so much so that we ceased ro be hosts. This girl asked to help out a few years ago and being local, we agreed. We couldn't believe our luck when she asked this year if she could do a proper HelpX stint - so we booked a holiday! Finding someone to milk is always such a chore - in fact, impossible - so I thought this one was worth sharing :D

Is there a website for help-ex? I am always looking for help and it gets so expensive. I'm based in Wiltshire
