Title: Lamb in my kitchen, when is it too late to go back to mum?

Hi.
My last ewe finally had twins this afternoon.
One is quite small and I ended up bringing it in to warm up and for some colostrum.
Mum is in the stable with the other lamb.
I'm hoping if it picks up I can put it back in with its mum, but I'm not sure how long I can keep the lamb in with us until her mum is likely to reject her?

One of my two didn't get on with 2nd born...After holding mum (my two are VERY tame and go on leads to their field) I now bottle feed him but he is still with mum and his brother....Mum only biffs him now and then

If you have to take one away to warm it its best to take any siblings too, then put them back with the ewe at the same time . If the lamb is warm now get it back with its mum, the sooner the better. Get it drinking from her and with luck all will be okay.
