Title: Another Quail thread
Post by: sokel on April 14, 2013, 11:14:58 pm
Been thinking of quail for quite a while now , I am a total novice other than keeping a few chinese painted in the bottom of the canary shed many years ago.
What would be a good starter quail mainly just for the eggs as I have taken a liking to pickled quail eggs  ::)

Coturnix Quail is what you need, commonly known as Japanese Quail. Come in many colours and strains.
