We only have one ewe left to lamb. She is behaving oddly and has done for a few days. I thought this may be because she was about to lamb, but now I'm not sure. She also seems a bit slow on her feet.
She keeps herself to herself and if she comes to the feeder, and then the other ewes and lambs approach, she walks away.
She is eating and drinking but not alot.
Am I just noticing this more with her because she's the last one?
Or could it be something else?
Thank you

It could be the start of twin lamb disease, or it could be something else. If you have a vitamin shot, I'd give her one. Or, better still, some Twin Lamb drench. Definitely keep a close eye - check her ears aren't cold, her mucous membranes are a healthy colour, smell her breath for signs of ketones, watch that she's pooing normally, etc. If she goes down (other than to lamb), get calcium into her.
:fc: she's just getting ready to lamb.

Thanks Sally.
I hope I'm just worrying too much but we do have twin lamb drench so ill give her as a precaution.
