Title: Fish for pigs

Having read through the very instructive thread on Potato Peelings :bouquet: I have gone over fully to obeying the rules but...
There's the usual glut of mackerel around here now and I was wondering if I cooked some up outside, could I feed them to the pigs, and the hens?

i would suggest you ask the animal health folks. you may end up with fishy pork.

think a phone call is needed not clear on the defra paperwork, only mentions fishmeal that can be fed to pigs helpline-- 08459 33 55 77............let us know the outcome :pig: :pig: :pig:

Fish is definitely banned except fishmeal 'if suitably processed'.
