Title: Couldn't belive my eyes
Post by: Azzdodd on April 11, 2013, 08:36:05 am
Went down to tend to the flock this morning and was greated by a fox hiding under my trailer waiting for something I showed it away obviously but next min my billy goat come flying over knocked this fox right over then they all joined in nanny nearly beheaded the fox! Good to know they can look after themselves :-)

Excellent  Hopefully that'll be the last time it's around!

I have to say I don't worry about my chooks, when I'm late back, since they share the yard with the goats, whom I've always assumed would sort out any fox daft enough to come near.

The beasts at risk are the ducks and geese - in theory the dogs can get close, in practice they're getting on a bit and are more likely to be snoozing by the Aga .....
