Title: Ram Lamb
Post by: Bionic on April 07, 2013, 04:58:44 pm
Taffy, my little ram lamb was born on 19th March so is 3 weeks old this coming Tuesday. He has really grown and is a tough little chap. Today he starting trying to mount his mum and the other ewe that he is in with, anoying both of them.
Is he just playing or is he really that advanced?
He can't actually reach them of course but at the rate he is growing that won't be for long.

Yeah, they do that. Its just playing. Its when they start curling their lip and follwing ewes about when they are 4 mos old that you should start thinking about panic weaning.  ;)

They even do it to other ram lambs...They are just playing at the moment, he will be better when he has a bit of lamb company to play with.
How's the last ewe doing?
