Dan,

I think you are reading our site wrong.

The shipping weight is 28kg not £28 !!

For upto 30kg shipping by parcelforce is £7.92 inc vat (for non highlands, islands and europe, which are obviously more)

Thanks

I'm seeing £14.40 now as the lowest postage option with 2 x 10kg rockies, and a total weight of 28kg - screen shot attached.

You need to use lighter packaging material.  :D

Hi Dan,

Not a case of lighter packaging material,

You must have used a Highlands address - parcelforce charge double for highlands hence the £14.40

I challenge anyone to ship a 30 Kg parcel within the UK for less than our parcelforce cost of £7.92 inc Vat

I'm in Dundee, not the Highlands!

You might need to review your postcode list, mine isn't on this list:

Quote from: Parcelforce
Zone 2

The Highlands and Islands of Scotland - postcodes IV, HS, KA27-28, KW, PA20-49, PA60-78, PH17-26, PH30-44, PH49-50, ZE
