Title: loaded cheesy crispy jackets
Post by: john and helen on April 01, 2013, 09:38:29 pm
these are so bad for you..yet taste like heaven food  :innocent:

bung a big jacket potatoe in the microwave..8 minutes on full .... "Ding"

Take out cut in half long ways... scrape out middle into a bowl... leave about 4-5mm of potato on the skins...

add some grated cheeder cheese to the bowl , knob of butter and a smidgen of milk..whisk that into a creamy mash

Deep fat fry the jacket skins... for a couple of minutes..until crispy..now load them with your mash mix..sprinkle a bit of stilton on top..then grill until the stilton has melted.... very very naughty..but served with anything... they are superb...  :excited:

A diet full of fruit and vegetables needs to be complemented with something that will clog up your arteries - it's called a balanced diet   ;D

:yum: :yum: :yum: :yum:   I'm feeling peckish now.  Is ten to midnight too late to get the deep fat fryer out?
