hi guys, had a bit of a shock today! 

came back from being away for a few days to fing my capsicums COVERED in aphids, black flies and tiny white flies, that look from a distance, abit like a coving of dust - yes, there are that many.  the aphids have moved on to my tomato plants aswell!  :'(

just need some advice as to shift the little b*****s, ANY help wil be appreciated

Put your old washing up water,or make up some soapy liquid and spray the aphids. Repeat as necessary for a few days eh voila!  BTW there's no aftertaste on the veg,but give it a week before you harvest to make sure...... Ree

best to use bio d or ecover for this task. ladybirds are a wonder weapon, especially their larvae. just put them on and watch them  munch away! :&>

thanks guys!

i'll be keeping my eyes open for ladybirds but will give the washingup liquid ago. 

one of the drawbacks of being on the 2nd floor is not too many natural predetors call by to offer a helping hand  :-[.  last year it didnt really matter as i grew from seed.  this year i started late and bought in from the local garden cntr, guessing the eggs/lave might have already been there...  b****r!  lol, still, tis a lesson learnt  ;D
