I like the third photo - looks like they could do BBC trailers, like the swimming hippos.

It's lovely to see them doing so well James.  I hope they're not nibbling too much they shouldn't be.

I've lost three sets of headphones since Easter already thanks to nibbling caprines.  I should really stop milking/watering them while I've got my iPod on . . .

Hi Alex

The boys still think they are babies and forget now that they are BIG and heavy. But, they still try to sit on my knee and jump on my head and back like they did when they were small and light. Having said that though they are very well behaved (most of the time) and are brilliant characters to have around. A bit worried about Gizmo though as he has the runs quite bad, none of the others do so that must be a good sign. I will keep an eye on him though. It makes such a difference getting them when they are so tame and friendly. We have an old bath out the back that we use to bath the Pygmys in and Gizmo has taken to lying in this and enjoying his own space, it is funny.

It was good seeing you, Bath and the goats at the Highland Show, we had a great day out.

They really do grow alarmingly fast don't they?  I remember when I could hoist two of this year's kids under each arm, now I think I'd have trouble carrying one any distance, especially the Anglo-Nubians who are stocky little girls.

I hope Gizmo recovers from the scouring, from my experience (which is in no way as comprehensive as Beth's or Fiona's) it generally clears up of it's own accord provided the goat's kept well fed and watered.  If it doesn't though give us a ring and we'll do anything we can to help.

It's really nice to hear how they've settled in and become part of things up with you though, I might have to invest in an old bath for ours  ;).

This is the hard life they all have, just been out taking this picture. The geese have decided to become freinds with the goats these days. We have over 3 acres of grass land but yet they love to lie here, I guess they know they are close to us when around this area.
