Title: Singapore Airlines,
Post by: tizaala on March 23, 2013, 06:21:36 am
after Gabi's aborted flight to Munich yesterday we rang Singapore airlines and explained why she couldn't make it to the airport, so they booked her onto this morning's flight and e-mailed her new ticket, It snowed most of yesterday , so last night we rang them again- they booked her onto Sundays flight and again e-mailed her new ticket. I tentativeley asked if we had to pay as it was such short notice,
" No , your ticket is paid, these are exceptional circumstances, we do understand your difficulty in getting to the airport , if we have to keep doing this every day then we will, have a nice day......"
Try getting that from Easyjet or Ryan..
It snowed all night and is still falling .this mornings pics taken at 0500hrs.  Will it be gone by Sunday ?

I'm very impressed.  Hope Gabi makes it this time.

Sandy, that's very charitable of you.  If it were my ex I'd be hoping he DIDN'T bring thermals.   ;D

We rang them again last night to cancell as we are still snowed in. they have now moved her to Tuesday . They are brilliant , and so helpfull and understanding of the situation, can't praise them enough.  :trophy: :bouquet:

Our landlord came to feed his animals yesterday--got stuck in a five foot snowdrift- had to walk here and get the tractor with the big bucket and dig his truck out, he was the first person down the lane for two days , horrendous conditions,
So sorry for all the folks with no electricity  and heating.
