Title: Fodder beet and pigs
Post by: Tala Orchard on March 21, 2013, 09:44:36 am: This question has probably been asked before, what is the best way to feed fodder beet to pigs?

We have been offered fodder beet and would love to take up the offer as it would supplement our ever increasing feed bill, so advice is required.

Our root choper came with the farm, its like a big iron food processor for animals!

Post by: Tudful Tamworths on March 24, 2013, 07:12:51 am: Lots of people just throw it in whole. Gives the pigs a bit of a challenge. Others that I know chop it in half or quarters using a spade.
