All wrapped up and off to feed the sheep in the snow, get there to happily see Little Miss (the one I was keeping an eye on) on her feet and walking towards the feed troughs - SHOCK - followed by 2 lambs. I'm so stupid - must have got my dates wrong as I wasn't expecting anything till next week!!
Although I didn't get the lambing shed built that I was hoping for, do have 7 pens set up and ready so back to put the dog in and then walked her down to the shed.
They are perfect, she's a shetland put to Castlemilk and the female lamb looks like a Castlemilk and the male lamb looks like a lovely patterned shetland.
Just so pleased they are healthy and mum is looking pretty good too - hands still shaking!!

Oh good - I like happy stories ;D The dark one looks as if it has a shetland type fleece and the paler one more of a primitive fleece with the beginnings of a mane. Nice healthy lambs and dam
