Title: the illuminati
Post by: deepinthewoods on March 16, 2013, 03:57:25 pm
supposedly a secretive bunch of the super wealthy who are trying to take over the world. most people think they dont exist.
luckily oxfam would have a different opinion.

So Dave, in your dream world of equallity for all, if the worlds wealth were to be devided equally we would all be about 7pence better off, can't wait.  :innocent:
And human nature being what it is, the wealth would gravitate the same way again very quickly.  Me cynical? :eyelashes:
Oh yeah, for sure!  :innocent:  I'll just keep on  :knit:

Well I DID read the link and I'm afraid my inane comment still stands.  It is human nature to accumulate and the wealth would end up back in the same type of hands even if redistributed.  Perhaps  a little good might be done for poorer people/countries in the passing but the end result would be the same.

thats not the issue here tho annie. its that billions of people are hungry because of the greed of just a few. yes there will always be inequality yes there will always be greed its human nature. but when the system is sooo wrong as to allow this kind of injustice to be perpetrated then it is time for a change.

it was hardly a conspiritorial kind of link either, it was from oxfam.

it outs it into perspective, when people are being turfed out of their homes due to the bedroom tax, and normal working people rely on foodbanks, that the problem, isnt 'the economy' the problem is the super rich. they are sucking the blood out of this country, and indeed, the rest of the world.

My husband is currently " re homing" panicking people from their homes due to the forthcoming bedroom tax, most have lived where they are for many years, know the area and have friends but now are asking for transfers to small, one bedroom place cs in other areas, a few are just staying put and adding to their debts. Not even sure where all the one bedrooms properties are going to appear from?
I doubt bedroom tax will be a success and if it remains, it will filter through to the private sector, I used to be exempt from council tax as a student and when I fostered I had reduced rate, soon they will not make that reduction for people living in houses with more bedrooms than they need.
My biggest fear is families forced to stay in their parents home or lodge with others, I met a few elderly or vulnerable disabled people who had their money taken by unscrupulous family members, that is bound to happen more often, mainly due to the environment and the economic climate. When looking back at family records it was clear that a lot of people took in lodgers for an extra income, well that will be the norm again.
Title: Re: the illuminati
Post by: deepinthewoods on March 17, 2013, 03:26:21 pm
problem being, if you live in a council house or a housing associatioin property you cant have a lodger.

council tax benefit has already been cut significantly.

this april, in this country, the s**t is gonna truly hit the fan. there will be lots more debt, lots more homeless, lots more starving children.

how sick is it that in this country in 2013 there are hungry children.

Social Services will be over stretched too... there is far too many down points, I could go on but I am not good with words or politics, I just understand the practicle implications.. >:(

I have been saying that tswhtf for some years now .
Although i didn't know when exactly , or what would be the particular straw to cause the break , we are now there !
The mra brigade will no doubt have a last attack , well let them , they can f eckoff . The way we live is about to change forever . Tptb are making their final moves toward total control .
Laws are now in place that if targeted parents don't follow all dictates , they will be sanctioned and all benefits will be removed . Any children can and will be taken into care , as well as any new born children being removed into care once a family is sanctioned .
The end game is now in play without question . Hospitals are being closed  all over the uk . As are schools and any public service that taxes are paying for .
Still there are people who refuse to see what is going on . I give it 3 months and even they will see , albeit too late by then .
For those that can , get your heads down and keep them down . For those that can't ie people in towns etc , you have my sympathy , take care , times  are about to get very hard .

When I worked in social work it was a fact that the courts were in favour of keeping children in thier own homes with support, some families had some worker in their house almost 24/7 very costly , I remember working with an extremely difficult family that on paper did all the bad things re children, the children were quiet and very sweet, dare not breath without permission, however, they were re homed in a specially converted house due to disabilities, that's only one family, and over 5 years ago, I still am in touch with all my SS friends and things have not changed too much so, , not much funding to take children into care at all, I am sure they will re open some children's homes that were previously closed down, sometimes better sometimes worse. As for babies being taken early, not so many I worked with did, the at risk parents usualy had parenting clasess and assessments, one of my jobs and often who they were most people would not trust them with thier dogs let alone a child, but it was the aime to keep them with their parent, usualy and often something drastic then happened when they child had developed behaviour issues so then were taken into care, I used to support a family that in the end had them all taken into care for using thier own prescription drugs to knock them out at night, ending up in one baby going into accident and emergency nearly dead!!
As for wealth, that's something that we have been indoctrinated to have, rather than it being natural trait in people,  INCLUDING ME, we should not want so much but manage on what they have, it's a throw away society that a lot of people on this forum are trying not to comply with, how many times do we have to replace stuff like TV’s, washing machines, phones, bathrooms and kitchens etc? how many pairs of shoes (willies) do we need?
I was not too pleased when my daughter bought her council house,  never been a fan of people being able to buy them at reduced rates, but, in monetary terms it was a good deal, especially as it  had a huge garden and in a very posh village, council houses are for people how cannot afford to buy, for us, renting a house would be more expensive than buying one…like I said, ideally we Excluding a few like Rusty, have to many wants  but may be replacing them with needs in years to come!

Only just been able to read those bits  posted as my net goes down all the time....I posted a few things that have been lost :innocent:
The people my husbands trying to re home are certainly not people who have been scroungers at all, one women had a big company, she has a wonderful flat in a nice place but cannot afford her rent or rates as it is, so she has no choice, I actually wonder if there are enough one bedroom places, to build a one bedroom house is virtually as costly as a two bed one so it will have to be flats or houses made into flats, I just hope it gets scrapped, so many people are going to be deeply depressed so become ill or worse :(
Russ, if it does go tits up here , I would feel safe with you, you can fight and I can make cake :roflanim:
I would love to move to the country and hope to, we have our eye on a house but unfortunately have to sell this first.
Some people are going to have to turn to crime to keep alive, all the lead roofs, dog, cat and horse thefts will increase, along with poaching and live stock stealing, petrol and diesel will be stolen more and breakins more pr elevant........ maybe people will abandon their elderly parents too :gloomy:

By the way, I read these posts to my other half and some replys he gives are too strong for me to get blamed for, in the past he has said stuff and I get annialated...I am far too sensative but hes not       oh and Russ, I AM only kidding :innocent:

That's ok Sandy ,  I like cake ;-) , 3 times a week , but if you like baking everyday , that's ok too .

Just say what you want Sandy , if anyone has a go , do what i do , tell them to feckoff , or be better than me and ignore them  .
Tptb are now in fear of a europe wide run on the banks . Electronic (internet) movement of deposits in Cyprus was stopped , they are now going to vote on whether  to steal 10% of everyones money tomorrow ! Gives them time to bring in more laws and lock the money .
It was said some time ago , that when the system crashes , the banks will close on a friday , and people will only be able to withdraw say 100 £€$ via cash machine , then tshtf , meltdown begins , western style society implodes .
This could be just a little test , we will see on tuesday when the banks open over there , or should that be , if they do ?

Its funny how people never used to trust banks or bankers, things have gone full circle.
soon we will be all paying to use them, best to stuff our mattresses or invest in something if you have spare cash, especialy items that can be hidden away like jewelry, paintings or antiques then its security that you have to worry about. The more we have the more a target we will be. My strange uncle used to bury stuff all around his house   wonder if he forget to dig any of it up, not far from you Russ on the Llynn penisular N Wales
My new tag photo is one of my efforts rusty, they are so much like me, look crap but are nice if you fancy something sweet  :innocent: :roflanim:

Yes, I agree with everything you say there.  But there's little point in trying to redistribute the wealth - been tried before I believe.

I have no idea but used to think the name was good when I played Tomb raiders.
I feel sorry for small  businesses, shops in particular, the high streest are now full of charity shops, pound shops and eating places, and of course now a few take your old stuff in for cash shops and pawn brokers.
I often think community shops would go down well but not sure how they would work too well, people bring in stuff they do not want and sell it to some one who does, something like E Bay but including home grown stuff etc, and I know places do have them but I would like to see more of them
Fuel bills are sorring as are commodities but no one wants to pay more for anything, I notice the quality of a lot of stuff has subsided especialy when eating out.
I love that word Illuminati, when I get a cat i think thats what its name will be

Well , the theives are taking a bit more time over stealing peoples money . The banks are to remain closed till thursday , gives them more time to order more bullets no doubt .
The theives refuse to rule out stealing peoples money elsewhere too . So anyone with savings would be wise to get them out now whìle they can , if they can ?
Italy may steal 15% of deposits next , and the eu  wanted a minimum of 40% , with talk of 100% being possible anywhere in the eu .
One ceo of a bank has said this is insane . It will cause an eu wide run on the banks and destroy all trust in banks .
They have lit the blue touch paper , now , sit back and see what happens .

Government in Cyprus just rejected the eu demand to steal peoples money from their bank accounts . Rumblings already that Cyprus will be booted out of the eurozone .
I wonder what Merkel will have to say about that ?

Not sure that will; happen. Cyprus has been offered one of their own oil wells back.  That may be the reason for the back down on the tax.
Title: Re: the illuminati
Post by: deepinthewoods on March 19, 2013, 07:48:45 pm
the eu was making a point. cyprus is a tax haven and is known for laundering russian dodgy money. the last plan before it was kicked out was to only skim 3% of those with 20000+ on a sliding scale ie 15% from accounts with 150k +

pretty much the opposite approach to the way the british government has clawed back the deficit, no tax cuts for the rich 25% loss of income for those on benefits. a good friend of mine who has fybromyalgia and is basically bedridden will be £96 / month worse off. exactly 1/4 of her monthly income.

and in other news

mps have just voted themselves an extra 14k a year for the extra dutys involved in chairing a comittee
