well need to start June next hatch more than you need keep best 4 for next ya res eggs .Size some are big some are small best 38 pound average 14 pounds i do 40 turkeys and 100 geese you will see in October which will be the best feed more in the last 2 months .But always have you re own stock for free eggs you can then sell some young 1s and pay for there food in the Early days .

I breed Bourbon red, if you hatch them a little earlier (April) then you can get them a little bigger than 14lbs average, but not much more.

Depends on the land you have, if they are out and about and frer range then you get a better taste on the meat as opposed to keeping them inside and bulking them up. At 10 rare breed I take it you more for the love than the money?
