Remember how I was asking how you would go about mixing 2 groups of goats??
Well on Saturday I went on a trip to Wiltshire to meet Fowlman and his lovely Lady (wonderful to meet you both, sorry it was so rushed :-* :-* ) and we brought home 3 more goats ;D ;D ;D
New shed was ready with a stuffed full hay rack and a nice deep bed of straw etc etc. I Planned to let my girls range out over the ground daytime and swap them over with the newbies in the evening. This plan was working very well.
Until yesterday.
When I went down at tea time to find 7 faces waiting at the gate for their tea ::)
All getting on like a house on fire :relief:
Fed them and thought 'oh poo'. Figured any damage that would be done has probably already happened, made another shelter so anyone getting a rough time would still be able to snuggle down and left em to it!
This morning I sneak down to watch for a bit to find all 7 of them in single file walking up to the top of the 'mountain' then flinging themselves off the top and going back round for another go ::)
As if that is anyway for heavily pregnant goats to behave ;D
