Title: Silkie's Afro
Post by: mentalmilly on March 11, 2013, 10:28:12 pm
Hi, need some advice.  My partridge silkie has quite a large afro hairdo and she's started bumping into things.  Is it ok to clip the feathers on her head?  Or is there a better way ( gel it back for example  :excited: )
Thanks

We've got a Polish cockerel with a big afro; he is a bit clumsy but copes well considering the reduced vision.  If its causing a major problem, then I'd clip the feathers personally, gelling seems a bit too much effort, and it will only trap dirt...

Only joking about the gel.  Thought a nice big pink bow would look good. :innocent:
