Our first batch of orphans went out in a paddock this morning, they seem really content grazing now. All weaned bar 1 little black one called Moses... still got another 5 in the sheds but they are about a month behind these guys. Most of these are texel x but does anyone have an idea what the ewe in the foreground is? I wondered suffolk or hampshire down x? I quite like her, might keep her and a couple of other ewes to breed from in the future...

Suffolk X Dorset ? Just a guess :innocent:

They look lovely and yes, where did all that grass come from?

It's OH's parents back garden!!! 8) the fields are pretty bare at the moment even though the cattle have been off them since October. They've had dung spread on them so should start to green up soon. Really chuffed with how they are looking, they are nearly knocking me over when I go in the paddock!
The fencer battery went flat last night and OH's mum found 2 lambs wondering around the rest of the garden this morning... ooops :D the weather is meant to be bad tonight but they have a shelter with their creep and some hay in which they are using, so they should be fine.
