Title: Wanted: Runner Ducks, Perth area
Post by: Chrissie on March 06, 2013, 08:35:17 am
Hi again,

We are also looking for a few runner ducks - I believe there is a poultry sale in Forfar tomorrow - would that be the best option or are there any other hot tips for central Scotland and Tayside?

Thanks for you help,
Chrissie.

hm, we were more thinking along the lines of girls and eggs and one male...how much do you want for them? However, I know very well once I see them I don't care if they are male or female but not sure how to justify to hubby ;-)

oh...thats too tempting  ;D  why not! Are you around tomorrow afternoon? I finish work in Perth around 2.30 and could come up after that or alternatively I could be there for around 6, whichever is best! What is your address?

forgot to ask - do the males fight between them? we just had to give away one of our cockerel because we kept having blood baths between father and son...and do they abuse the poor females? have seen some pretty rough looking female ducks and heard that the drakes can be fairly persistent? (but they weren't runners so maybe the boys behave...)
