Spring seems to have arrived, and the bees are flying. How good is it to hear them buzzing around again.
Anyone else got Spring yet?

   :excited:

Seriously not spring here yet !
we are still having minus 5 deg on a night and a bitter cold wind during the day even though its sunny.
Last year we had a scorcher in the middle of march then in april we where snowed in with blizzards for days :o

Mine have been out and about too the last week or so, definitely good to see! Not spotted any pollen coming in yet just a lot of spring cleaning activity.

We've had a coup,e of really nice days and the girls are out and about. Saw 3 different colours of pollen coming in. Think the end of the snowdrops, hazel and helleborus but not completely sure.

Yes - today was warm and sunny here :sunshine: The bees were out on the crocuses - a lovely sight.

Ours have been flying too this last week. Even saw a couple of bumble bees in the garden yesterday so spring must be on it's way.
-
Mine were out yesterday but staying at home today (much like myself! ;D )

My Christmas box was alive with bees and flies for the last few sunny days, but none today.

Not warm enough here in the N of S, cant imagine much happening for a while yet!

Bees from our 2 hives were out and about last week which was lovely to see
However with the turn in the weather and the return of freezing and bitter winds there has been no sign. I have slabs of fondant over the feeding holes on the crown board and it looks like they have been using some of it. I don't know why but I now have a sinking feeling about one of the colonies - but will just sit tight with fingers crossed :fc:
Here's to some higher temperatures soon! :sunshine:
