I think Ryelands ARE particularly bonny lambs - but then I have them.
Congratulations, kaz

Mine are due at the end of the month and your pics have made me even more excited :excited:
-
Here's my first coloured lamb of season, out of overall Royal Welsh winner of coloured Ryelands. Well chuffed.
-
Congratulations Kaz!
Are you likely to have any for sale later in the year?
-
That's lovely  will it stay so dark or do they become lighter as they age?

Usually they get lighter with age - we have chocolate brown ones to silvery grey ones :)

They are great! If I wasn't so stupid, I'd put up some pics of our Southdown lambs. They are on f/b and twitter - sorry!
-
Congratulations Kaz!

Yes I will have some for sale later on in the year after weaning.

Thanks rosemary. I do like the look of rylands.
Mum please try piccies as south downs are another breed I'm interested in :innocent:

My daughter's the techy one in our family(I do the cooking) she's away just now, but I will nag her when she returns!
-
Daughter suitably nagged :innocent: so here's a few Southdown lamb pics for you...

'Donkey' has a real name, it's Wagglehill Ben. I've a feeling Donkey migh stick though!
-
'Donkey' - looking good - don't let your Mum rename you :innocent:
-
Ah they're gorgeous. Donkey is a great name too.
-
I can't register him as 'Donkey' - can I?
