i am being told by herdyshepherd1 on twitter that it digititous, antibiotic LA and terramycin spray required and seperate as catching. has anyone else come across this before? what causes it?

Hi Andy.
What conditions is he standing in? I'm wondering if it could be related to all the wet weather and muddy fields that many of us are experiencing right now.
Had a bit of a search about, found a couple of things but none specifically relating to the title of your post.
Quite a few foot related problems here:

ohhlala thanks very much for taking the time, how are you? and how is your downed sheep? hope you are keeping well ?

also strawberry footrot is described as scab on the lower leg above the hoof at the back, is this the same as digitosis ?

If it was my ram and he was still generally in good health I would go with terramycin spray too - then AB's if it didn't clear - hope he heals up quickly :fc:

No idea what digititous is,does she mean dermatitis , looks like strawberry footrot, AB and sprays as she says should control it
