Here is my new doeling which arrived yesterday afternoon after a long wait. She is feeding well thanks to Anke's advice of bottle feeding first colostrum.

Wow, that's quite a bit overdue... but not enough to say she got caught 3 weeks later...

Mum is 75% so that makes baby 87% I think. Is it normal for the belly still to be huge? She looks just as pregnant as before.
I still can't believe how tiny they are but lovely and silky soft.
-
If mum is 75% Baby will be 87 1/2 % thats the same as Lilly , we are hoping for females off her so we can keep them as she was put to a topknot billy.
I take it yours are registered ?
Cant wait for our lot to start popping
-
Yes all of my does are registered. I hope to keep one or two girls and sell some if I get them. Eventually want to build a nice herd of high percentage Boers if I can find a market for the meat. I have another four to kid, three next week unless as late as this one
-
161 days isn't unheard of. We had one born 10 days late too- just at that point when you are nearly panicking!
She looks very cute in the picture!
