Title: Livestock Trailer Hire required

Hi,

I am looking to hire a livestock trailer to take two of my piggy's away and pick one up.  I cant seem to find any hire places in East Lothian.  Has someone got a trailer I could borrow?  It will be returned cleaned out and disinfected plus I will pay for the use of it.  Or even if someone could point me int he right direction of Hire company.  Really need to get this done int he next few weeks.  Will be looking to buy a trailer but not int he position to do so for another few months.

Hello Louise
I don't have a solution for you, but some empathy.  I've been in a similar position and have struggled to find anything for hire or second-hand that fits the bill for a couple of pigs.  I think I'm going to be forced down the purchase route, although I'm just about to post a trailer-related question elsewhere on the forum that you might want to follow.

I have actually gave in and am going to use my new horse trailer.  I am definatly going tohave to purchase a live stock trailer though.  Good luck with your search as well.  :)
