Title: Derby House Rugs
Post by: sabrina on February 07, 2013, 03:55:21 pm
Went online Sunday to the Derby House web site as Toto needed a bigger rug. Lucky for me they have a sale on some things. I bought one for the boy to wear now and a new winter one for Teka for next winter saving £70 + free delivery.. I try to buy when sales are on as full price is just far too expensive. they arrived yesterday and I am delighted.

Oh must have a look I only ever buy rugs in the sales as they are such ridiculous prices otherwise.

Ditto and its good to have a recommendation as some of these on-line companies rugs are a bit rubbishy  :-J , so off to check 'em out.  Thanks Sabrina

It sounds like you got a good deal but i have to say Derby house has some very....mixed...reviews on the horsey forums! in respect of apparently constantly saying items are in stock and then people waiting months to get either the item or a refund.....I much prefer Equestrian clearance as their feedback is pretty well 100% positive. Have had good dealings with them personally.

Not trying to put anyone off from using DH but a lot of peeps eg on horse and hound forum haven't been having much fun with them recentlyhttp://www.horseandhound.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=590650&highlight=Derby+house

I have bought from them over the last few years and never had a problem. Must be lucky. I also buy now and again from Robinsons but not all their pony rugs are deep enough for the Shetlands. Bought a pony saddle from Equestrian Clearance and it went straight back. Put me clean off them. Used to buy from ebay but found that sometimes the bidding went way above what the rug was worth.

Gee Tac rugs are VERY good and a fraction of the cost of many of the more wellknown brands.  Their NZ turnout rugs are superb
