Hello everyone,
My name is Michael.
7years ago I moved to an 8acre croft in Caithness with three ponies and two great danes
Now we also have Dexter cattle, Jacob sheep and Large black pigs. Along with an assortment of rare breed chickens and some call ducks.
Last year we took on the let of an old abandoned farm next door, we are still only smallholders in every sense except acreage and intend to stay that way. the farm land is mostly rough grazing and very poorly fenced so we have our work cut out for us trying to get tups to stay where we put them!
Besides fence improvments our plans this year include the purchace of a Large Black boar and a Jersey cow.
Bye for now. :pig: :cat: :chook: :cow: :dog: :horse: :sheep: :&>

Hi again,
-PPD, do you have the Saddlebacks on the steep hillside on the right if we were heading south?
-Birdiewifey, are you doing the surveys in an "anti-turbine" theology or are they for some other purpose?
-
Hi from Inverness ! We have 10 acres on a hill at Cawdor, 2 donkeys and 3 chickens!

Not really sure where you are in caithness, but you would not see our pigs in passing - we are up a dead end road  but do have saddle backs!
Birdie Wife ...... then we have 3 boxes of mad frogs, but life is never dull with a cocker (or 3) around :innocent:
